It's absolutely beautiful here. I forgot to talk about this in my last entry, but the views here are breathtaking. As our plane was descending into Rio yesterday and we were breaking through the clouds, I felt like there was a transparent veil over the entire land because it was simply too clear and picturesque to be real. Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of rain, and I felt blissfully happy just lying there, listening to the rain and snuggled up warmly under my comforter. Though I was inside a hotel room, I could still feel, hear, and smell nature. If nature had fewer bugs, it would be perfect.
Irene and I woke up at 9:45 this morning, but surprisingly nobody else was awake yet. We were the first ones in the dining hall (aside from Michelle and her parents who had to wake up at 7am), and people started trickling in a bit later. The breakfast buffet had its ups and downs. Of the two hot dishes, strangely it was the chopped up hot dogs that tasted the best. It had a really yummy sauce that had a slight non-spicy kick to it. I was excited about the honey jar because the lid has a honeycomb-shaped attachment from which you drip the honey into your cup. Quite awesome.
After a post-breakfast nap, we waited from 11am-2pm for Dani's cousins to come pick us up for our day trip. Unfortunately, they were delayed for so long because they didn't have enough cars to bring our entire group of 20, so they found a guy with a 15-passenger van to help with the transportation. The historical town of Tiradentes is actually not too far from our hotel, about 5km, but the very old cobblestone roads made it a longer and bumpier ride.
The town square was small and charming as expected. Irene, Clarence, and I first joined eight of the cousins (we pretty much collected them all!) for a delicious, traditional Brazilian meal. One dish was a plant root of some sort, and another was a long swirled sausage link. The third had cubes of beef in the middle of the plate surrounded by tomatoes and onions. All three dishes were very, very good. Of course, the meal was accompanied by beer and Caipirinha, which is a cocktail made of Cachaca (sugar cane rum): http://www.epinions.com/content_2882773124. The Caipirinha was super strong and reminded me of tequila shots.
After stuffing ourselves, we proceeded to peruse the shops. I bought some beautiful decorations adorned with cast iron flowers for my future home. These flowers are popular locally and are even featured on many of the fixtures in the hotel. They're also handmade, so I couldn't resist! One of Dani's cousins helped me shop, ask for prices, and get a discount for buying two items. She was so helpful since I obviously don't speak Portuguese, and it's not Rio so English is uncommon. Some people in my group at least took Spanish in high school or college, so they can guess and get by on the similarities between the two languages. I'm definitely aware of my status as a foreigner here.
On our way back to the hotel, I hopped into one of the cousin's cars for the experience and had an even bumpier (but faster) ride back. I napped for a few hours before heading down to the poolside catered barbecue. The meat was apparently rolled in rock salt - SUPER salty. I had like one cup of beer and about five cups of hot tea. Some people decided to go in the pool, Steven entertained us on a guitar, and everyone was basically just hanging out and talking.
This is only my second day here, but it actually feels like it's been much longer. I'm glad the overall itinerary of this trip is extremely chillax; it feels like a real vacation! Except for the fact that I have to get online at night to do work...but at least I can catch up with my doc during that time too.
Tomorrow's the wedding! We'll be partying all night at the reception, so I probably won't be updating again until the following night. Until next time....

So this isn't a post about all my New Year's resolutions and what not. I always make those and end up breaking them or forgetting about them anyways. This is a reflection on the past decade as I remember most of the things that happened. So, starting with 1998-1999...
5th Grade and a bit more (because I messed up counting my grade and because I remember stuff from this time). This year I was in 5th grade. Berryessa Challenger just opened and I transferred here from Ardenwood because driving 40 minutes to school every day just wasn't worth it. Plus we had a crappy carpool. Going into school the first day, I actually found that a lot of my friends had transferred with me like Monica and Nik and met a few others. Some of the ones worth mentioning are Amit, Steven, Tiffany, Cassie, and Catherine Ho. I can't really remember anyone else at this time but considering our class only had 14 people, I guess I remember a good amount of people. My 5th grade teacher was Mr. Charland (can't remember his first name). He was a pretty strict teacher but he was really funny. I remember always laughing at the jokes he told. Specifically, I remember one time a student asked if it would be funny still if he told the same joke 5 times in a row. I remember falling out of my seat laughing every single time he told it although I don't know why. The joke was: A horse walked into a bar and the man asked 'Hey, why the long face?'" Lame, I know. He was really scary too. I remember teachers used to sent their misbehaving students to our classroom where Mr. Charland would scare them into line by showing how strict he was. He used to have marching practice after school and I always wanted to join it. Never got to though because my Mom said it was kind of expensive. Around Christmas, we got our first Mercedes Benz, an ML 320. Mom was pretty happy about it and it was definitely a cool car. Mr. Charland was pretty about y2k. He (and many other people in the world) thought that computers couldn't handle going from 1999 to 2000. Instead, the computers would reset and go back to 1900 making all our bank accounts void and utter and complete chaos would engulf the world. Turns out, nothing big happened. Around this time, all the girls hit puberty and I was super short. They also started joking around with anything remotely resembling a penis (pencil, stick, ruler, anything). I didn't get these jokes at the time and was kind of whatevers until they told me. Then I was like, "Psh, girls.." Finished this year and Mr. Charland moved on to teach school in Utah and eventually moved on to corporate.
1999-2000. In this year, word spread about how Berryessa Challenger wasn't a complete failure and we got a lot of students from a lot of places. First, Jotan. Amit told everyone he was an exchange student from Australia which is why he had the name "Jotan (Jonathan is his real name)." The name stuck and I'm still calling him that today although he prefers to go by Dante now. He was the first Jonathan in our class. We also had Johnny and Jon. Other memorables: Pauline (she was in my class since 3rd grade..), Anjana, Sagar, Eddie, Scott, and Anne. Nothing much happened in this year that I can remember. Got a new teacher, Mr. Helmer. We expanded to use the new classrooms which previously were blocked off before. I guess the year went through normally without much worth remembering. I did become good friends with Jotan, Jon, and Johnny (although not great friends yet) and I was still steadfast friends with Nik and Steven (friendship forged in 5th grade). Oh, I did get elected to our "student council." It was really just a group of 5 of us and since we didn't run any events, nothing happened with it.
2000-2001. Seventh grade. Not much happened here either. I think I did star in our winter program as Santa Claus though (or that might have been 6th grade). I sang a whole bunch of solo's. It was really fun and something I would definitely recommend any budding young singer / actor. Singing in front of a big audience is definitely not too easy. I became much better friends with Jotan. Dodgeball was all the rage during this time. During this time, we had our first touch of romance. Jon went out with Elizabeth (one of the two white girls in our class). They were often seen walking around the track holding hands. A whole bunch rumors were spread including stuff about Johnny trying to kiss girls and all that stuff. We had our first yearbook at this time (I might be wrong though, might have been 8th grade). I remember helping out but not doing too much for it. This year we also split our teachers up. Ms. Garcia taught us math and some other stuff while Mr. Helmer taught English and everything else. Those tiny skateboards were all the rage at this time and we often played with them in class. I think that's about it for 7th grade.
2001-2002. Eighth grade and also our graduation year. We began to live life pretty intensely as we realized we didnt have much time left in middle school. Mommy had started working at school as a lunch and extended care teacher so Ling2, Jotan, and I (along with a few others) began to help out with morning departure. Had some new students in class, Dwij, Stephanie and Christine Shieh. Christine eventually transferred back out to Irvington though. Jon left Challenger this year to go to MSJ. Jotan and Anjana went out (either in this grade or 7th) and they kissed in the storage room for a Christmas present to Anjana (hilarious). We had an 8th grade day where we got to skip school and go out. We all went to Great America (it just opened and everyone loved going there) and we always played. We got Mr. Safdie for a math teacher. I thought he was scary at first, but he was actually really nice although strict. I applied for a whole bunch of private schools and ended up getting into Mitty. Jotan got in to Mitty too, but he decided to go to San Jose High Academy instead. Graduated and everyone was sad and blah blah. Our graduation song was the one from "land Before Time" called "If we hold on together" or something like that.
Since I'm tired of writing and this is getting kinda long, I'll compress high school into one giant paragraph.
Went into hs and started with Algebra 2. Met Mr. Greene who recruited me in water polo and swimming. Kinda sucked freshman year but sophomore year swam varsity. 50 Fly, 26 seconds. 50 Free, 25 seconds. 100 breast, 1:08, 100 Free, 55. Not bad for a sophomore. After that though, gave up and played badminton (stupid stupid me). I feel like girls weren't that important during this time, but I'll list anyways. After 8th grade graduation, I met this girl Annie Mai who I went out with for 2 months or so. Sophomore year went out with Candace, Sharon's friend, and that lasted like 3 months. Junior year, Josephine. And that was it for girls. Made some friends not worth keeping (KP, Nathan, Chen) and a lot of friends worth keeping (James Franco, Ray, BK, Evan). Senior year, I was ridiculously into Bintang. Had a weird Stephanie Wei episode too. Got into UCSD, which was awesome. I really think it was the perfect place for me to go.
College, since I'm still in it, I'll just list some friends that I met. My 1st and 2nd year roomates, Henry, Garret, and Ryan. Met Brandon 3rd year and he's a pretty chill guy (hella into dota though). Larry, George, Max, Daphne, Iris, Alyssa. And the Janet, Sonya episode (very lol). So much freedom in college, you really have to manage time yourself. I drive up to Irvine quite a bit to play poker. I also play basketball a good amount with my roommates.
I got kind of lazy..maybe I should have made this a series of posts instead. Either way, its been an awesome decade. Maybe I'll write more when I feel like it!

Bahaha...takes foreverrr to get anywhere when my mom wants to go too. -__- Finally got to Eastridge around 4. At least Tilly's was rather fruitful. =T I kinda wanna hit up the one at Great Mall now...I doubt I'll have time though. =/
Started laundry, then FINALLY got around to giving myself a haircut. Yay I didn't mess up! ^^ Love love LOVE that little razor. :P Yarr...my mom caught me cutting my hair though and started nagging me to cut hers and my sister's hair. She still wanted me to, even after telling her multiple times that I don't know how to cut hair and this is the first time I've taken off that much hair myself...and I wasn't even cutting! D: But after much nagging, I just gave in. She wanted me to razor and then cut, which really makes no sense at all. And she kept saying, "like Alice Cullen's hair!"...when that's not even the cut she wants. >_> BUT again with the nagging...so I razored a bit, but it apparently hurt too much, and she kept complaining...so I ended up just blunt cutting it with thinning shears, then switching between those and scissors. Hah. I was so right when I told my mom that what she wanted was not razoring. -__-;; She kept moving around though and like touching her hair when the scissors were RIGHT THERE. Ughh...and same when I was using the flat iron...you don't put your fingers near your hair when someone's holding hot or sharp things there! :O At least it turned out good. I feel accomplished. I kinda wanna cut some more off my own hair though. Maybe tomorrow, if I have time. =T Hopefully I didn't break my razor at the end when I was trying to clean it...
Maybe I'll do my nails now. Oh but I still have to wait for my laundry...damnit. Okay maybe after my laundry's done. Hmm...what color...?

After getting to the airport 3.5 hours early, a 4.5-hour flight to Charlotte, a 1.5-hour layover with a quick snack of bread sticks and hot dogs, a 9.75-hour flight to Rio de Janeiro, hanging out at the airport for 3 hours, and a 5-hour bus ride to São João del Rei...yup, finally here at our hotel.
I bought a word search book at LAX that has some not-so-traditional word searches, so that plus naps got me through several hours of the traveling. Airplane food was really bad--it was more like a frozen dinner. The buffet dinner they served us here at the hotel was really yummy though, and I'm looking forward to even more delicious food throughout this entire trip. Our shower had only cold water because they didn't boil the water yet, and the water pressure was super low, so it took forever to take a shower. But just being clean again felt awesome.
It's beautiful here. We're basically on a private resort on a lake because there are no other guests at the hotel. Nancy and I just hung out and chatted with Michelle's parents for a while in this random nice lounge area. Tomorrow we're visiting a historic town nearby, so I'll probably be taking a lot of pictures.
Irene's harassing me for my netbook, so I gotta end this entry now. More updates to come!

Haha...I love my family.
Dinner partay at Ryan's house. I probably devoured about half the hors d'oeuvres within ten minutes of getting there. =X Haha. Xboxing. Then I got distracted by more food because I am a fatass. :( It was delicious.
White Elephant. Ohhhh gosh. My family. Is crazy. Hahaha Clement explained the rules rather thoroughly for my grandma's benefit...no touching, no lifting...once you touch it, it's yours. Yeah she totally disregarded that. ROFL. Haha everyone kept jacking my gifts. T_T Most hilarious jacking chain ever goes to my grandma, sister, and mom. I think I almost started crying from laughing so hard. xD
Went over to Clement's. Then the *real* party started. ;) Hehe chillllllll. Then, after much deliberation, finally went out to playyy. Weeheeheeee! Fun stuff. >:D Sooo tired when we came back. Crashed. Haha...I was scared I'd roll off the couch, so I just slept on the floor with Mr. Sharky. I'm used to having a pillow barricade between me and the edge. >_>
Woke up the next morning and got ready. Ryan was a party pooper and had to leave us, sooo just Clement and I went to Ikea. Combo #2! Two hot dogs, a soda, and chips. Yummy. And $2 each! Haha walked through the maze...I found a kangaroo along the way and kinda got attached to it. =X Heavyass furniture...why would they put that up so high in the self-serve area?! -__- Haha too many kids at the checkout place. The lady asked if they were ours, and we're flatout just like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo..." D: Weeheeheee Clement bought me the kangaroo. ROFLL. The mommy's name is Coffee, and the joey's name is Toffee. They are amazingly soft. I am *such* a kid at heart...I swear I will be 50 years old and still be ridiculously happy if someone gave me a stuffed animal. ROFL.
Getting those Ikea boxes up the stairs...frikken 2nd floor apartment. T_T Well, it was really only just one of them that was super heavy...that one I managed to help him carry from the car to the base of the stairs, but LOL he juggernauted that thing up. I hauled ass up the stairs so I could throw the door open. Hahahah. Put that shit together. Teamwork! :D
Came back home afterwards...lol inhaled dinner. My mom and sister were like halfway through their dinners when I started, and they...didn't make much progress by the time I was done. o.O Opened Christmas presents. xD Lol one of my aunts got me a shirt from Hong Kong. It's size L. Slightly depressing. Lol...but it fits pretty well. Pity it has random jibberish on the front that doesn't quite make sense...I think I'll be sleeping in this. >_> Haha...chilled for awhile...then went driving. Lol I don't think my dad knew it rained earlier...but I got lucky, because it started raining again right when I got back. Rain rain rain. Yay I have my giant stuffed animal to cuddle with tonight! :D

I try to sleep in and end up waking up before 10. Fail. Kinda just sat around for a few hours waiting for my mom to get ready to go out. Back to Great Mall we went. Still so many people. Ugh. A two year old decided to feel me up while I was browsing at Papaya. D: And apparently they closed at 6 today. I'm kinda annoyed, because the website says 9. Sooo...we're missing one present. Lol. Shit.
Shopping is tiring. Damn.
Haha how funny. Each little paragraph/section ends with a potty-mouth word. I'll be good. :)

I'll be spending Christmas Day packing for my trip. It's exciting that I'll be in Brazil in 3 days! I remember when I was younger, my dad went there for a business trip and brought back a random souvenir for me. Hrm, now I can't even remember what it is anymore...but for many years I hung it on my wall and looked at it, thinking of the day I'd get to visit Brazil myself!
As much as I've started to hate flying, I still do love to travel and discover new places around the world. Friends have also provided good opportunities to visit certain places...Psycho was studying abroad in Australia, Pubed was on a medical mission trip in Vietnam, and now Ma-Wall's getting married in Brazil!
Anyway, can't wait for Saturday. Nancy will be flying with me the whole way, and we're meeting up with Irene in Charlotte. (Oh goodness, I never thought I'd have to go back to North Carolina after ICON 2005 in Greensboro. -_-) I expect that good company and good books will get me through the 15-hour ordeal. =)
São João del Rei and Rio de Janeiro, here I come!
P.S. This is a pretty nifty site in that it will track my movements daily, and I can update it with my adventures. Friends can even text message me for free on there.

Wahaha...couldn't sleep until late last night. Tried rubbing my back, even though that involves me contorting in awkward positions that probably jacks it up even more...ugh. I was barely using any pressure and it was already hurting. =/ Bah. Finally knocked out...and slept in. Lol.
Swiped the last brownie for breakfast. =X And like 15 minutes later my mom asks me what I want for lunch. D: I requested a small portion...several times. I ended up only being able to eat half of what she gave me. -__-
Ran errands. CVS ate Longs, and now there's carpet inside! They also rearranged everything so I was slightly lost. Lol. Lucky's...my mother bought four bottles of champagne. Oh dear. Rofl. Came back to eat dinner...which was the other half of my lunch. Then my mom had some sticky rice, and she asked if I wanted some, and I kept saying I'd try a small piece, since I was full from my own dinner, and then I thought better of it and was like, "Nevermind I'll get it. You don't know the definition of small." Bahahah. And she admitted it! :O
Left my sister at home to enjoy watching TV, since my dad was home. While I was driving, my mom started telling me (again) about how giving birth to me was basically hell. That turned into her observations on how her side of the family is very dependent on everyone else, whereas my dad's side is rather detached, all while I was waiting forever for a spot that was pretty decent, considering how quickly I found it. Pretty sure other people had been circling for longer. Then, when we were walking into Great Mall, I got a random lecture about how I needed to watch out for post-partum depression after I had a baby. o.O Huh.
But yeahhh. Managed to get someee Christmas shopping done. I'm surprised the mall closed at 10 though. So early. =T Took foreverrr to get out of the parking lot. Too many cars. Blah. Lol...was driving and totally zoned out when my mom was chattering away...thought she said something about cookie smoothies and was like wtf, but I misheard. Haha. Came home and had apple pie. That was pretty good. My feet hurt. (And my head too...wtf. Need to buy Advil before my emergency stash is out.) Doot doot...sleepy...dessert coma. Lol.

I stopped taking the BC pill because it's incompatible with my Provigil (which is more important at this time) in hopes to get an IUD. And since I stopped it, I've lost more than 4 pounds in a week. And I've done nothing special. I haven't even gone to the gym: I had been out of town for a week and the last few days I let myself be lazy as a gift.
Well, the BC pill may have had something to do with me gaining weight in the past 3 yrs. -maybe-
For that matter, I need to stop sleeping in and start taking my Provigil again.

Dentist. We weren't late for once! Lol we're normally not very good at getting to Redwood City on time, especially if there's morning traffic. No cavities. X-rayed. My teeth and gums hurt like helllllll though. And the last thing my dentist asked me was, "Do you chew your tongue?" Er...wtf. o.O
Went to Costco. First sample table I hit up was Toblerone. Haha...so painful, but ate it. Quiche, spinach and artichoke thing, and tamales were doable...I even managed to get through some chips. Then came the dark chocolate almonds...I got through the chocolate, but the almonds hurt too much. T_T Ugh.
Came back around 1 and knocked out. Cos I could feel me start to break down...things start hurting everywhere...I think it's because I haven't been getting enough good sleep. And I'm on break. Go figure. My mom woke me up around 4 to eat lunner...I can kinda bite now, but it still hurts to chew. :( So tired...
[edit - 10:28 PM]So we finally started Christmas shopping. Well, I was done rather quickly. Done with Target, I mean. My mom took foreverrr looking at random stuff. D: Too many people. I don't like lines and crowds. >_> Orchard Supply for random stuff. That too longer than necessary too. -__- Thennn, Eastridge. Bed Bath and Beyond. Thank goodness they closed at 10. So...tired...I hope I'm not getting sick. Haha apparently the heater has decided it is cold enough for it to start up. I think that's the first time since I've been home. Cool. Well, technically, it's rather warm now. Cozy. I still wish I had a giant stuffed animal to hug and snuggle with. And I definitely wouldn't mind if it hugged back. =T Ugh. My back is killing me. I need a massaage. :(

Better mood, better driving. Managed to not stall even once when I was driving around. :) Practiced the little E-brake trick my dad taught me. Hills, you can't scare me.
Mom&sis begged for a movie, so I played Up. I always cry during that first part. =T It's okay though. Bunny was there to dry my tears. >_>
Life acts like a frikken hormone. It wreaks just as much, if not more, havoc on my emotions. Hah. Bring on the slow sappy songs. I'll pull me out of this with some Muse later. I love that feeling when you're intertwined with the music...ahh it's wonderful.
Oh, the thinking. I hate how it just happens.
I don't want to fight for something nonexistent and impossible.
I'm tired.

Actually got to Diana's on time! Two minutes doesn't count. :P Off to Cupertino Village for lunch. Haha...CuperChina. Diana is hilarious. ^^ Walked around trying to figure out what to eat and ended up at A&J. We got wonton soup and an onion pancake thing. I convinced Diana to try it with sugar and I have definitely got her converted! Josephine: 1, world: 0. >:D Walked on over to the bakery afterwards to get some daan taat and picked up some buns for my family while I was there. Heehee.
After that, went over to Vallco. Cupertino Square...whatever the hell you wanna call it. We're old, so we will forever refer to it as Vallco. =T There were actually a good amount of people there. Christmas does wondrous things to malls. Stickipics! Then went to Macy's to try on dressies! Oh snap...I hope I have my mini SD card converter...took pictures with my phone because my camera batteries have been acting up lately. =/ Hehe one of the dressies Diana tried on was on sale and she loved it, so she got it! The one I tried on that actually fit and liked was definitely *not* on sale. :( Oh well. Tutti Frutti for froyo. I got all the flavors. =X And a buncha toppings. >_> Then went to take more Stickipics. LOL. The first time we took them, no one else was there, and we're pretty sure the machine glitched, so we had forever to decorate. This time, there were too many teeny boppers, so the machine rushed us along. =T But I still love how they turned out! :)
NEW MOON! Hahahaha first time for Diana, second for me. xD Still some teenybopper fangirls in the theater. Eh. Seriously, just shut up and enjoy the moment! Don't ruin it for others by screaming and stuff. Bahaha. And yeah, left after that. Dropped Diana back off and drove back home. In the rain. Ew.
Dinnerrr. Watched the end of Ghost Whisperer, instead of just the beginning for once. Huh. Interesting. Food coma. Well...plus I was just kinda tired to begin with. Mm...maybe I'll have the Love Drunk album lull me to sleep. Haha it worked last night...

Slept in. Spent too much time playing tetris and thought we were leaving 45 minutes later than we were actually planning, sooooo got ready in the biggest rush ever. Somehow made it. And...Asian time kicked in. We didn't actually leave until a little bit after. Hah.
Bowling at Strike for Katie and Clement's joint birthday parties. We got three lanes for our party, but somehow, we older cousins and a few of the adults got stuck with the shitty lane that was slanted and buttons on the computer thing that didn't work. Hanna turned into Haa, Justine was Justie, Karen was Kare, Ryan was Ra, Josephine was Josepie, Clement was Clemet, Maureen was Mauree, Gary was Gar, Anna was Aa...you get the picture. Ryan's was coolest...upgraded to an Egyptian god. :P Oh, and we also couldn't delete players because the #6 button was broken. =/ Yeah. Screw that lane. We didn't bother trying to adjust, because we all generally encounter relatively flat lanes. Haha Karen and I used our non-dominant hands to bowl, for the hell of it. Omg my sister...she was in the lane next to us...frikken threw her ball down so hard every time. o.O And Alex. Bahahah that was soooo loud! It scared the daylights outta me! D: That's probably why our lane was so effed up. Kids like them. >_>
Went to attack the arcade afterwards. Haha...2 on 2 air hockey. Clement&Ryan vs Sue&me. Boys won. :( Switched up the teams so it was Clement&Sue vs Ryan&me. Lost the 2nd game, won the 3rd, and lost the 4th. Our games were so frikken violent. LOL. The puck went flying off the table sooo many times. One time, Clement hit it and it flew up and hit me. -__- During the same game, Ryan, who was ON MY TEAM, ended up going for the puck, but in the process knocked into my hand and made my paddle (is that what you call it?) fly off and hit me before going flying off who knows where. T_T Pretty sure I'll have bruises on my knees from slamming into the table repeatedly when the puck was in the middle...too far. D: But damn. Our games are so intense. ROFL. Tried playing basketball too, Clement vs Ryan, but Ryan's balls wouldn't roll down. o.O Went to play skeeball...then the claw machine. Then we looked over and hahahah Ryan's balls and the ones he stole from Clement had come out. Odd. Alien skeeball game...freaky. Then LOLLL...hunting deer. HAHAHA oh man that was fun. Ryan and I were totally way too into the game. Damn gun though...hadda reload after every shot...little kids were staring at us because we were going crazy and basically looked like we were trying to jack off the guns. =X Frikken does always getting in the way of the bucks. Little critter bonus! Hilarious...one round we totally missed the deer, but Ryan managed to hit a tiny squirrel. Hahaha...and the cougar at the end. Wtf. LOL.
Ate at Tatami afterwards. It was where Todai used to be. Also a seafood buffet. Not bad. So much sushi. Yay for cocktail shrimps. Hahaha...the crab legs...I lost patience with those. Haha. Frikken Ryan was freestyling the whole time...to the tune of Christmas songs..."cracked it open and it looks like a flaccid penis and you put it in your mouth, now you're biting it...flaccid cock, flaccid cock, now you're ripping it apart..."...yeahhh. This one was actually to the tune of Jingle Bells. -__-;; Hm...randomly started singing Bowling for Soup songs...which reminds me, I was supposed to look up what a two-way was, because neither of us knew. We were pretty sure it wasn't two-way radios though. Got ice cream for dessert. Aaand they had white and dark chocolate fountains! :D Marshmallows and bananas dipped in chocolate. Deliciousssss! :D
Went over to Karen's afterwards. The grownups started karaoke in the dining room, and we took over the living room with Beatles Rock Band (our goal was to overpower them volume-wise, and we succeeded). Karen on bass, Ryan on guitar, Clement on mic, and me on drums! Bwahahah. Managed to not die with hard all the way through. o.O I think I'll try expert sometime. Haha. Decided to post-pone cousin sleepover, sooo they left, and I got stuck with the grownups for awhile...but yeah finally left when my dad decided he'd sat through enough of my mom and aunts singing oldies. xD Drove back. It was quiet.
Came back to effed up internet...spent an hour trying to fix it...bahaha. Was about to rip my hair out, so called Deniseypoo...haha she is amazing! Lol...there were I-wanna-cry moments in there, buuut we got it figured out. Hopefully everything is still okay tomorrow...

Went to Monica's (again) and stood around awkwardly while her relatives left. xD Then Yara and Joey got here! Stood around talking for awhile, then finally decided where our first stop would be.
Lawl...went to Linda's Light Rail Lounge...small random place. *shrug* It was chill, and we were like whatever when the bartender told us he couldn't really recommend anything because he didn't drink, since Monica made some pretty good stuff before she started. I asked for an adios and he was looking at me all like "oh shiiit" like he expected me to rethink that. Psh. Monica backed me up. ♥ Haha...but yeah...he made the drink and it was...pink. o.O We were all like...wtf. It's supposed to be a pretty blue. Meh. Took it anyways. But holy shit. I have no idea what he dumped in there, cos it tasted kinda...strong. Like not the strong where I can taste the different kinds of alcohol...it was the strong where I could taste...the alcohol itself. Ugh. Downed it though. He said something about Santa Clara enforcing sobriety checkpoints for the holidays though, sooo haha had Monica drive us to our next bar.
Well, I backed out for her outta that tiny little parking lot. >_> Managed to make it to a parking structure, then...haha switched again so I could park the car. LOL. Walk walk walk. Gay bar. ROFL...it was apparently bangin' in there though, so long line. Found another bar close by and went there instead. Some Korean one. How fitting. :P Hehe bought Dale a Rising Sun. Damn...his was frikken goooooood. Got me a White Rabbit...it was supposed to be good, according to the reviews, but I think I was just having bad luck with drinks. =/ Whatever. Lychee martini was pretty damn good, and I heard the sake went down easily. ^^ Missed final call though, and they couldn't/wouldn't take another order, even for the birthday boy. :( Darn.
Left after that. I am a genius and packed some bread for me. :D Hahahaha god I hate driving in downtown. Stupid one-way streets and...ugh. Still needa go back though...I wanna walk around Christmas-in-the-Park! Nothing super special about it, but still. There's bound to be lotsa shiny things to oogle there. :P Mm yeah...dropped people back off at Monica's place, then went home. Whoops...I always end up getting home like two hours after I tell my mom. =X Well, not like she really waits up. It's more of a...just-so-I-have-something-to-tell-her thing. >_>
Mm yeah...oooookay. Seriously. What the eff did he put in that "adios"?! o.O My head is like...wooooooooo...

MUSE! Sooo excited.
Haha. Asian time. Can always count on it. That and it took us forever to figure out where to go...bahaha. Went to Great Mall, but it was pretty impossible to get a parking spot. -__- So we left and went to Milpitas Square. Go me for being able to get there from gut feelings. Haha. Maruichi for lunch. I'd been craving ramen. Monica thought bukkake was some sort of muffin or something. We told her otherwise. Urban dictionary is your friend. :) I demolished my combo B...I was hungry! T_T Walked around a bit...spent forever in the Swarovski store. Dale and Theresa called Monica and me crows again. We can't help it if we're attracted to shiny things! >.< Haha walked into one of those Chinese herbal shops and bought myself an orange lollipop. LOL I'm pretty sure the guy thought I was slightly retarded because I thought it was the candy Jujube in the tea, but it was actually the fruit. >_> How the heck would I know what a jujube is! D: And wthhh...crazy Asian lady. Bahahah.
Went back to Monica's and ate Dale's birthday cake(s). Hehe Monica and I liked the strawberry one, the chocolate was alright, the cheesecake was pretty damn good, and the tiramisu would've been better if one of the layers wasn't so icy. o.O Nice hot tea. ^^ And of course, Rock Band! :D We learned something new...apparently it's only the highest string that matters (on the guitar)...except Dale failed at the little lesson practice session thing. Lawl. We had the most epic set ever, and we all went on hard for the hell of it. Next time, expert. Bwahaha. Props to Dale for playing bass in Hysteria. Shift that hand, yo! ;) Monica had to go do something in the middle of Move Along and shoved the mic at me even though I was drumming. Bahahah oooooomg...I think if I hadn't freaked out and spent so much time trying to figure out how to do it, I might've been able to survive even if she hadn't rushed back at the end. Hahaha I was alternating between singing and drumming the one that was closer to dying until I figured out that I could put the mic between my thighs. Awkward as helllll to drum like that, but it worked. LOL.
Left with Theresa following me to the freeway. Smart girl. Light turned yellow when I kinda had to go, but she didn't have time. =/ She saw where I was waiting though, and on we went! I went south though, so hopefully she didn't follow me on, because she needed north. Haha. Got back home and clicked the garage door opener as our house came into view behind some hedges...saw the light blinking and thought I'd somehow broken it. o.O But hahah it was just because my mom and sister were putting up lights. ^^ They'd disabled the garage door. *phew* They finished, so I drove into the garage...much easier dragging my big blue duffel bag into the house from there than from across the street. D: Haha thank you Dale for bringing it up for me. xD
I am so in love with the Love Drunk album. Even though a lot of it reminds me of high school, oddly enough. Bittersweet, I suppose. =T
Tangent. Like Celisala and I were saying...we're not in high school anymore...can't we be grown up and act like adults? Or at least try? =T Meh.
Another tangent. Goddamnit stop taking my things. Leave them alone. UGH. Of course I'm gonna say it doesn't bother me. When the fck do I ever say it does. Weakness or niceness? =T Always suppressing. Always repressing.
I should go see what the hell I stuffed in that duffel bag...so I can clean it out and...send it back down with Dale. =X
